Bread Bhatura Recipe | Instant Bread Bhatura

bread bhatura recipe

Bread Bhatura Recipe: Generally, bhatura recipes are made with plain flour and yeast as a fermenting agent. However, in this recipe, traditional white sandwich bread slices are used to prepare the dough, which already contains a baking agent. This bhatura recipe is a quick and easy way to satisfy your street food cravings.

Indian recipes have evolved dramatically, particularly as a result of the influence of western recipes. Previously, sandwich breads were not an essential component of our cuisine, but they have now become one of the must-have ingredients. Obviously, there are several hack recipes from it, with bread bhatura being one of the most popular.

I’ve already shared the traditional version of bhatura as well as an instant version made with carbonated water or soda water. However, this bread bhatura recipe with sandwich bread slices is unique and cost-effective. This style of bhatura is something I make only when I have some leftover bread slices, and it’s not my first choice. In other words, I’m not a big fan of this recipe, especially when compared to the traditional bhatura recipe. Having said that, it is a fantastic option to finish your leftover bread slices rather than throwing them away. Furthermore, you can easily surprise your guests with this recipe because its source is difficult to uncover unless it is deliberately revealed.

In addition, there are some simple tips, suggestions, and variations for this crispy and soft bread bhatura recipe. To begin, I strongly advise using white sandwich bread slices for this recipe and avoiding other bread variations. White bread slices are typically made with maida or plain flour and baking soda, making them ideal for this recipe. Second, I kneaded the bread slices into bhatura dough with curd. For a better outcome, you can also use water or sour thin buttermilk. Finally, once prepared, this crisp and soft bhature must be served immediately. Otherwise, it may become soggy and rubbery, making it unappealing to serve.
